Fixed-wireless equipment installation

Existing telecommunications tower

Above Wireless installed fixed-wireless base-node equipment and connected tower-mounted components to an existing equipment cabinet.

Construction scope: Equipment mounting, hybrid cabling, grounding, cable management, labeling and field documentation.
Field consideration: Coordinating the tower equipment, cable routes and cabinet connections within an existing installation.
Work & documentation: Installed equipment and cabling documented in a project closeout package.

Existing communications site

Above Wireless performed tower and ground work within a coordinated wireless installation scope.

Construction scope: Trenching, conduit placement and backfill, cable-support construction, antenna and hybrid-cable installation, grounding and fiber testing.
Field consideration: Coordinating the underground pathway with cabinet connections and tower cable routes.
Work & documentation: Installed field infrastructure and documented the work. Remaining project items were tracked separately.

Construction scope: Tower-mounted equipment installation and photographic field documentation.
Field consideration: Working on an existing structure with established broadcast equipment.
Work & documentation: The installation was recorded in a field closeout package.

Maintenance and repairs

Wireless troubleshooting and equipment replacement

Existing wireless site

Above Wireless investigated equipment faults and performed corrective field work on an existing wireless installation.

Construction scope: Power and fiber checks, radio replacement, cable replacement and documentation of equipment status.
Field consideration: Separating an equipment fault from a remaining connection issue.
Work & documentation: Faulty equipment was replaced and service restored on part of the installation. An unresolved connection issue was documented for follow-on work.

Above Wireless combined antenna and feedline installation with supporting ground-level construction.

Construction scope: Tower-mounted equipment, equipment-support work, site grounding and utility or fiber connection work.
Field consideration: Coordinating tower and ground scopes within the same installation.
Work & documentation: The constructed scope was recorded in a project closeout package.
