SERVICE 04

Civil & Site Development

Above Wireless performs civil construction that supports tower and wireless projects. At a new site, the work establishes access and a buildable compound. At an active or retrofit site, it must fit around existing equipment, buried utilities, and the customer's operating requirements.

Scope built around the site.

Site preparation, foundations, equipment pads, compounds, and underground pathways coordinated around the communications installation.

  • New-site preparation and construction access planning
  • Excavation for foundations, pads, and site infrastructure
  • Tower foundation installation to approved design
  • Equipment pads and cabinet support construction
  • Compound improvements and fencing scopes
  • Trenching, conduit, and equipment entry pathways
  • Utility coordination and crossing review
  • Access improvements and construction staging
  • Backfill, cleanup, and site restoration

Typical packages include concrete foundations, reinforcing steel and anchor assemblies, equipment pads, conduit entries, and fenced compounds. Ground conditions and the approved design determine excavation and installation requirements.

How the work comes together

Define. Coordinate. Document.

01

Establish the work limits

Walk the site, review the civil drawings, and confirm access, laydown space, utility information, and restoration limits. Identify conditions that need design clarification.

02

Sequence the construction

Coordinate excavation, reinforcing steel, embeds, concrete, and pathway work with the tower schedule. Arrange required reviews before pours or backfill conceal the installation.

03

Complete the site handoff

Review finished work, access condition, and remaining restoration with the project team. Provide the agreed photographs, field records, and open-item list.

Safety & quality

Clear requirements.
Useful field records.

  • Review excavation hazards and required utility locating.
  • Check forms, reinforcing steel, anchors, and embeds before concrete placement.
  • Document specified inspections and material records.
  • Confirm drainage interfaces and restoration against the approved scope.

Project responsibilities

Geotechnical evaluation, surveying, foundation design, and engineering changes require separately assigned qualified providers. Electrical connections and specialty underground work are separate trade scopes. Unexpected subsurface conditions are reported for direction before work outside the agreed package proceeds.
